Mr Dudley runs 10k to raise money for Katharine House Hospice
On Sunday 6th October Mr Dudley completed the 10k run for Katharine House Hospice in just 65 minutes. He ran in memory of Lesley Crook, wife of Michael Crook who was formerly Head of RE at Blessed William Howard Catholic High School for almost 30 years and is now a governor. Lesley was a lovely lady whose two children and two grandchildren have passed through or are still in the school.
Katharine House provided excellent care for her in what was a distressing time for the whole family. Lesley was just 66 years old when she lost her fight against an aggressive form of cancer.
So far, Mr Dudley has raised a fantastic £600 - anyone still wishing to sponsor him can do so via the secure online page at http://www.justgiving.com/Nigel-Dudley or send in a cash donation in a sealed envelope addressed for his attention. If taxpayer donors wish to gift aid their sponsorship (where every £1 earns an additional 25p from the Inland Revenue) then they should provide their home address and postcode.
