Online Safety

Follow these simple rules to keep safe!  Or if something does upset you or make you feel vulnerable, please report it immediately.  You can do this via either of the methods below or by speaking with a member of staff.  This can be your Pastoral Lead, Form Tutor or our Safeguarding Leader, Mrs Duffield.

Sharing things that upset you is not always an easy thing to do.   If you prefer to send an email you can send it to Mrs Duffield at hd@bwh.staffs.sch.uk  - we understand that sometimes this might be easier than a face to face meeting.

Your concerns 'safeguarding' concerns might include:

You or someone else being bullied

Something happening online that you don’t feel comfortable with and might need some advice

If you feel somebody at the school is at risk

If you have a problem that you need to talk about to somebody

Please don’t use bad language as we may not receive your message: the school systems may filter and block things like swear words and stop your message from getting to the recipient.

Students can also anonymously report issues via SMS by texting BWH + their message to 078600 21584   OR you can use CEOP.

The NCA's CEOP Command (formerly the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) works with child protection partners across the UK and overseas to identify the main threats to children and coordinates activity against these threats to bring offenders to account.  They protect children from harm online and offline, directly through NCA led operations and in partnership with local and international agencies.
