Summer 2022 exam contingency day: Wednesday 29 June 2022
The exam awarding bodies have designated Wednesday 29 June 2022 as a ‘contingency day’ for examinations.
All summer 2022 exam candidates must therefore remain available up to and including this date should an awarding body need to use this contingency day for exams in the event of national or significant local disruption to exams in the UK.
With GCSE Exams commencing week commencing 9 May 2022, students should ensure that they have the following equipment in preparation for their exams.
- Clear plastic pencil case
- 2 Black Pens (not gel pens)
- 2 Pencils
- Ruler
- Rubber
- Protractor
- Pencil Sharpner
- Hi-lighter
- Scientific calculator
Students are permitted to take a bottle of water into the exam hall, this must be in a clear plastic bottle with the label removed
